My Curls Unleashed Taking Command Product Review

Let start by saying I am a big skeptic when it comes to natural hair products mainly because some companies do not have my best interest at heart.  Many products that I have tried have had a tendancy to coat and not moisturize my hair all the while leaving it dry, dull and lifeless.  My curls never get the opporunity to drink the nourishment that they so desperately need nor do they ever reach their full potential as a curl.  Well, while shopping with my daughter at Meijers, I decided to go browse in the hair section.  Not many choices for natural hair except for hair oils, lotions, etc.  As I continued to browse I ran into a display that displayed the Curls Unleashed hair line.  Not too pricey, the highest product cost $14.99 for a 16oz jar.  Good, because I have seen some jars of natural hair products the same size that can run as high as $45 to $50.  I read about some of the essential oils that are in the product:coconut, sweet almond and safflower oils to moisturize your curls without shrinkage.  Hmmm... Well non the less I purchase it still skeptical about what it will do to and for my hair.  Very simple instructions, wash and apply liberally to your tresses.  So I wet my hair, towel dried it and then apply a liberal amount of the creme to my hair strands.  I didn't twist my hair at all but decided to let it air dry and scrunch my curls while my hair is still wet.  1 hour later...  Wow!!!  My hair is soft, manageable, moisturized, and curly!!!  Love this product, would recommend this product and will definitely be blasting this product on Facebook, Twitter and to anyone who ask, "What do you use in your hair?"  Yes ladies I highly recommend this product and will be investing in the entire line real soon.  More to come with the Curls Unleashed line so stay tuned!

Clothes That Inspire, From Paris With Love!

Parisian women have a unique way of inspiring the world of beauty and fashion to newer heights and deeper depths. Yes they push the fashionista to rethink the terms, "Classic, Simple and Elegant." Let me give you an example of what I know about these women. While working at the Lancome Cosmetic Counter in Michigan City, Indiana, I had the unique opportunity to meet women who lived in New Buffalo, Michigan. One day while at the counter, an unassuming woman approached me and began her conversation in a thick French accent. She began to tell me about her family business in France, her Chateau or "home" in her country and the imfamous fashion sense Parisian women. We spent over an hour talking about her family owned pattern company that was partnered with all of the major designers back in the day. Now, if you had seen this woman you would have never imagined that her she came from money, old money to be exact, and that she had a sense of style. She wore a simple strand of pearls and an outfit that didn't scream wealth or prestige but silently spoke of elegance. I was told that women in France know who you are and how much money you have by looking at the buttons on your clothing. She stated that each seamtress or tailor has a certain logo imprinted on their buttons that allows the observer to know the money behind the creation. Also, women in Paris are taught to dress simple, elegant, and stylish without being being in overkill. Many times we in the states have taken for granted that the more we wear and the more expensive the label equals fashion sense but let me inspire you to rethink your view of what is classic, timeless and elegant. First, women who understand fashion know that less is more, simple is elegant and classic is Chanel. Take a simple black dress, pair it with a strand of pearls and a pair of beautiful and elegant black pumps and you have created a masterpiece that any woman would envy. Now of course you can change the pumps to something more colorful but the point is make it simple if you want to inspire. Sometimes the clothes that speak the loudest are the ones that say the least. Be inspired as you watch the slide show of Parisian Fall Fashion 2012 Street Style.
